Elevate your figure drawings with washes of tone and color in watercolor and ink in order to produce vibrant mixed media work in the tradition of Cézanne and Rodin. Learn graphite and pen-and-ink drawing techniques as well as watercolor and wash painting methods, referencing historical and contemporary examples. Basic drawing experience required.

Learning Objectives

• Learn to cross-hatching drawing technique.

• Learn to combine ink and watercolor wash with graphite and color pencil drawing.

• Learn to use secondary references for drawing.
