Monotype: The Painterly Print Workshop
with Lisa Hamilton
One Saturday, 9 am - 5 pm
Monotype is an expressive and accessible form of printmaking, in which an image is drawn or painted on a plexiglass plate or other surface and then printed on paper or fabric to create a one-of-a-kind artwork. Students will work in small-scale in black-and-white and color, exploring both hand-printing and press techniques. Each student will come away with an edition of 4 - 10 prints. Perfect for beginning printmakers, anyone interested in drawing and painting via a new technique, or experienced printmakers who love this painterly process!
Important: All students enrolling in on-campus courses must submit proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and booster (or documentation for a medical/religious exemption request) upon registration.
