Pre-College: Portfolio Bootcamp

Learn how to develop a portfolio that will wow any art school admissions committee. Start the week with a portfolio review by PAFA's admissions team and learn where you are excelling and where you could strengthen your presentation. Then spend the rest of the week focusing on developing observational art skills and working with your teacher develop pieces that directly address the needs of your portfolio. This class is perfect for juniors and seniors getting ready to apply, as well as freshman and sophomores getting a head start on their applications.
Additional sessions will go over the art school application process, what makes a great portfolio, how to photograph your at for your portfolio, and what to consider when choosing a school.
Required Material List. Students are responsible for their own supplies.
This class cannot be taken for college credit.
Required materials list will be posted here in May, and will be emailed to registered students two weeks before the start of class.
Pre-College programs will be in-person to safely support young artists. All participants are required to be vaccinated and boosted (if eligible). PAFA will be limiting classroom density and deep cleaning all areas. We're excited to be a space of creative expression for teens!
