PT 604EW Exploring Watercolor and Water-Based Media

with Lesa Chittenden Lim

Experience the joy of working with watercolor and water-soluble pencils and pastels. Both traditional and innovative techniques will be demonstrated to create luminous color and descriptive effects. Try your hand at the various media, individually and in-combination, while working from your own photographs, still life arrangements, or imagination. A great introduction to watercolor and mixed media! Award-winning artist L C. Lim uses her creative spirit to compose images that reflect the profound beauty of nature and our earth. Lim teaches at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art (PAFA) and throughout northern Michigan. A recipient of many distinguished awards, her work appears in the University of Michigan Ross School, Dow Chemical and Woodmere Museum collections, as well as numerous private collections. She regularly exhibits in Philadelphia and Michigan. Lim received her degree in painting and printmaking from PAFA. (Tuition includes $10 materials fee.)
