with Lisa Hamilton
Screenprinting is the perfect process for making prints at home. Join Lisa Hamilton, PAFA Faculty and Print Shop Manager, Learn how to select materials and set up a portable screenprinting station that can easily be tucked away when not printing. Explore low-tech processes using found-object and paper stencils, crayon resist, drawing fluid, and screen filler. All materials are safe and non-toxic, requiring a sink and yard hose for cleanup. All levels are welcome. Beginners will be guided through all aspects of the process including screen preparation, image development, and printing techniques. Printmakers with experience may propose independent projects.
