Continuing Education at PAFA

Convey the subtle color, fluid line, and realistic volume of the human form through watercolor.  Working from photo references alongside the instructor during live Zoom sessions, paint nude and clothed figure subjects, with guidance on achieving anatomical and proportional accuracy, mixing skin tone, using value to suggest light and volume, rendering clothing, and more.  Instruction will feature demonstrations of fundamental watercolor techniques such as washes, gradations, textural effects, wet on wet, wet on dry, dry brush, and more.
