Continuing Education at PAFA

Twelve-Week Course (36 Hours)*
Credit: 1.0 Undergraduate Credit  

This combination of six-week courses, Figure Painting: Alla Prima and the Limited Palette and Figure Painting: The Extended Pose, offers 1.0 undergraduate credit for 12 weeks of instruction, addressing figure painting issues from short studies to long poses.  Note: Tuition includes a $75 models fee.

Students electing to take this credit-bearing option must adhere to the academic credit policies in the policy guide below.  Note, per policy:

• Because changes in academic credit must occur prior to the third class meeting for twelve-week courses, this credit-bearing option is only available until February 7, before the February 8 Alla Prima class. Credit cannot be added after this date or retroactively after courses have been completed. 
• Students electing to enroll for non-credit may simply register for either or both six-week courses. 
• Credit-enrolled students who wish to switch to non-credit must submit their request in writing to continuinged@pafa.edu no later than February 7.  No refunds can be issued for changes from credit to non-credit.

*No class on March 8 (Spring Break).
